How Music Unlocks Communication in Children with Autism

For many children on the autism spectrum, spoken language can feel like a locked door. Music therapy offers a different key.
Through call-and-response singing, rhythmic play, and improvisation, our therapists create a safe space where a child can communicate intention and emotion without words.
In our outreach sessions across Dhaka, we have seen children make eye contact, take turns, and even vocalise for the first time — milestones that ripple far beyond the therapy room.
This is not entertainment. Each intervention is goal-directed, measured, and adjusted session by session in partnership with families and clinicians.
